Chimera Fitness Program (Intermediate Conditioning/Body Building/Powerlift)
Chimera is a hybrid beginner-intermediate 12-week program, broken down into 3 micro cycles, that is designed to help the client maximize muscle endurance (conditioning), muscle hypertrophy, and strength training. Each micro cycle will last 4 weeks and the intensity for each exercise will increase as the client progresses from one micro cycle to the next. As the intensity increases, volume will decrease to prevent injury and allow proper recovery for strength gains. There will be four to five days of resistance training and two to three days of rest during the first 8 weeks. The last 4 weeks will have three days of resistance training and four days of rest. Though each micro cycle is 4 weeks long, if the client chooses to, they can remain training in a micro cycle up to 8 weeks if they continue to see improvements. This hybrid program is an all-around program built for the serious lifter.
